The wine displays aromas of bright citrus and lanolin laid over a taut framework of acidity. Flavors of meyer lemon, honeycomb, and crushed stone combine with a salty minerality on the palate. The wine is bright and well-balanced, with a citrus focus. The grapes were hand-picked and fermented in neutral barriques before being racked off the lees after 6 months, for a total of 14 months of aging. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered.
