Rose Cotes de Provence - 2023

The vineyard and estate take their name from Jean Baptiste Coussin, the 18th-century landowner whose property this once was. Since 1903, the Sumeire family has lovingly tended these vines in the Côtes de Provence AOP region, carrying on the legacy of Coussin (formerly known as La Croix du Prieur). The light pink hue of Domaine Coussin's wine is so pale it's almost white. Delicate aromas of stone fruits like apricot and peach waft from the glass, underscored by subtle hints of clementine and orange peel. The citrusy notes linger pleasantly on the finish. This elegant, refreshing wine makes an ideal pairing for lamb shoulder confit with garlic and thyme, as well as seafood dishes like risotto, tuna tartare with fresh coriander, or Tahitian-style marinated cod. Let the bright flavors of Domaine Coussin complement and elevate your meal.
