"Petit Chablis" - 2023

Located in the renowned Burgundy region of France, this 100% Chardonnay wine exemplifies the elegance and freshness characteristic of the area. The vineyard, spanning 0.50 hectares, is situated on clay-limestone plateaus, providing an ideal terroir for Chardonnay cultivation. The 10-year-old vines are planted at a density of 5,500 vines per hectare and pruned using the Double Guyot method. The winemaking process is meticulously carried out in-house, from harvest to bottling. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, preserving the typicity and crisp character of the Chardonnay grape. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation, fining, filtration, and cold stabilization to ensure its quality and stability. Upon tasting, this dry white wine presents a lively and fresh attack, accompanied by fruity and acidulous notes. Its convivial nature makes it an excellent choice for various occasions. The winemaker recommends serving it between 9 and 12°C, pairing beautifully with seafood, charcuterie, snails, or as an aperitif. This Burgundian Chardonnay offers an aging potential of 1 to 5 years, allowing enthusiasts to enjoy its evolution over time. Its crisp profile and versatile pairing options make it a fine representation of the Burgundy region's white wine tradition.
