A generous, unoaked wine from three Chardonnay plots in the argilo-limestone soils of Mâcon-Burgy Les 3 Terroirs is a beautiful wine. Grapes on these hillsides typically reach maturity slightly later than their southerly neighbors in Igé, and this wine is nicely weighted, with hints of grapefruit and almonds. This open, generous French Chardonnay is nicely weighted, with hints of grapefruit and almonds.
