Bourgogne Aligoté originates from the Aligoté grape variety, which is the second most important variety in Burgundy. This wine was planted in 1998 at Igé by Pierre-Yves and Olivier. The aim for this cuvée is to emphasize a fruity, young, and fresh character while also showcasing a significant maturity. The producers have intentionally avoided creating a traditionally acidic Aligoté. This wine pairs well with a variety of dishes, including appetizers, grilled fish, seafood, Burgundy snails, and goat cheese from Macon. It is recommended to be enjoyed within 2-3 years, particularly alongside traditional meals, making it a delightful choice for Aligoté enthusiasts.
