Grown in an organic environment on the Broadway Farms in Sonoma. This is the first Merlot harvest from this exceptional vineyard. Merlot was pressed halfway through fermentation to preserve its crisp, lean characteristics, and then matured in barrel for 18 months to mellow the wine's tannins and brighten the fruit. Quite balanced, juicy, and of medium body. Soft tannins with a finish of bramble blossoms, plum, and red currant. An excellent wine that is sure to impress any crowd.
