Pedrer captures the essence of the shady, north-facing vineyard on the mountain, reflecting both the freshness of the cool side and the warmth of the morning sun. This wine is crafted using a unique blend of techniques - a portion of the grapes are left as whole berries, untouched, which lends the wine a pure, unadulterated fruit character. The remaining grapes are crushed and undergo an extended maceration period, allowing the skins to impart depth and complexity typical of the renowned Priorat region. For the first time, this wine has been aged entirely in 300-liter ceramic vessels. These jars, less porous than traditional oak, help preserve the wine's innate power and purity, without the influence of wood. The result is a natural wine, free of any additives, that showcases the true essence of the terroir.
