The wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, vinified using a barrel fermentation process that the winemaker David Jeffrey learned from his time working at Château Quinault in Saint-Émilion, France. Tasting notes indicate the 2020 Colonel's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is perhaps the most voluptuous wine Calluna has made from this vineyard. The wine comes from a small, 1.25-acre block of Clone 337 Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted in 2005 on the top of the Calluna estate property.
