About Sons of Wine
Farid Yahimi, the founder of Sons of Wine, embarked on his career in digital communications before immersing himself in the natural wine movement, inspired by his cousin Carole Yahimi, the founder of the French Association of Natural Wine. Initially assisting renowned wineries like Pierre Overnoy, Marcel Lapierre, Thierry Puzelat, and Christian Binner, Farid transitioned to winemaking in 2010. He began experimenting with grapes from his vineyards and purchased fruit. By 2017, having successfully sold out all 5,000 bottles of his wine, he expanded production and christened his wine label SONS OF WINE. This name was influenced by the TV series SONS OF ANARCHY and his passion for motorcycles.
Farid places significant emphasis on cultivating personal relationships with his growers. He selectively sources grapes only from growers he shares a strong rapport with, ensuring a harmonious collaboration to yield high-quality fruit in sustainable quantities using biodynamic methods. Notably, all his wines are crafted without any additives, including sulfites, and undergo no filtration process.
