Fermentation:They use Perry's Tot Gin made by the NY Distilling Company, which is a Navy Strength Gin. Navy Strength refers to gin that is bottled at 57% ABV. The term "Navy Strength" originates from the gin's use aboard naval ships: the high alcohol content meant that if it spilled on gunpowder, the powder could still be dried and used, as the gin wouldn't render the gunpowder inert.
