This Rosso di Montalcino is 100% Sangiovese from a 7.4-acre vineyard at 1,476 feet above sea level with southern exposure. Grapes were hand-picked and carefully sorted; spontaneous fermentation occurred in concrete tanks, and aging took place in large used oak casks with a light toast. It is a floral, fruity, rich, and vibrant wine that bridges the gap in complexity. This red offers plum, walnut, and orange peel aromas and flavors. Full-bodied with chewy tannins and a flavorful finish, it's a structured Rosso di Montalcino.
