LBV Port - 2009

The Casa de Santa Eufemia 2009 LBV Port boasts a deep ruby color. On the nose, it tantalizes with aromas of ripe black fruits, such as blackberry and plum, complemented by alluring notes of dark chocolate and spices. On the palate, this full-bodied and concentrated wine mirrors the nose, offering juicy flavors of blackberry and plum, with hints of cocoa powder. The ripe tannins are well-integrated, providing structure without being overpowering. The finish is long and persistent, with the fruit flavors pleasantly lingering. This LBV showcases an excellent balance between the fruit, tannins, and acidity.
