Teutonic Wine Company was founded by Barnaby and Olga Tuttle in 2005. While these wines are inspired by the wines of the Middle-Mosel Valley in Germany and Alsace in France, they are a celebration of Oregon. Barnaby and Olga work with cool climate growing sites and are focused on quality farming as well as minimal intervention in both the vineyard and winery.
The Crow Valley Vineyard is a small vineyard in the Willamette Valley that was originally planted in 1979. The vineyard is planted to Pinot Noir, Riesling, and Pinot Gris. The vines are own rooted and dry farmed. No pesticides are used in the Crow Valley Vineyard and is farmed with organic practices. The 2024 Pinot Gris was hand harvested, destemmed, and fermented in neutral oak barrels with indigenous yeast. The wine was aged in neutral oak barrels before bottling. This Pinot Gris is crisp, with a bit of residual sugar, giving it great texture and making it a brilliant food wine.
