At a Glance

• Topette is a local Loire Valley way to say "see you later."

• Stainless steel fermentation and pure and balanced expressions of these varietals.

• The project is modelled after the inexpensive quaffable bistro style wines readily available across France but rare to find at this price in the United states. French Portfolio manager Pierre Gastadello spent months tasting and meeting various negociants before been blown away by the quality of negociant Pierre Chainier.

• Each cuvee is sourced from several Loire Valley farmers and negociant Pierre Chainier makes a point to support their growers fairly and more substantially than the norm. Chainier believes in crafting real wine of typicity and soul and works with a curated set of vineyards and vigneron.

• The wines:
Chenin Blanc: Notably aromatic expression of Chenin Blanc with ripe melon and white flowers balanced by a driving acidity
Chardonnay: Lean and mineral driven though with a subtle textural depth on the palate
Sauvignon Blanc: Delicate with lime, crabapple, and grapefruit framed by a light grassiness.
