About Haden Fig

Haden Fig, a boutique winery nestled in the heart of Oregon's Willamette Valley, is the culmination of Erin Nuccio's journey into the world of winemaking. Nuccio's path to becoming a renowned vintner began in Washington D.C., where he honed his appreciation for the quality and character of Oregon Pinot Noir while working at a highly-regarded wine retailer.

Driven by his passion for the craft, Nuccio went on to gain valuable experience in wine distribution in Massachusetts and formal education in viticulture and enology in California. Ultimately, he and his wife decided to settle in the Willamette Valley, where Nuccio had the opportunity to apprentice under Russ Raney of Evesham Wood, a respected winemaker who shared Nuccio's winemaking philosophy. This mentorship laid the foundation for the creation of Haden Fig, a label that allows Nuccio to express his own unique winemaking style and passion.

At the heart of Haden Fig's offerings are exceptional bottlings of Pinot Noir, crafted from dry farmed, low yielding vineyards in the Willamette Valley. These vineyards contribute to the structure and complexity of the wines, reflecting the essence of the region and Nuccio's dedication to producing exceptional wines.

In essence, Haden Fig is a boutique winery that embodies the personal journey and winemaking vision of its founder, Erin Nuccio. Through his commitment to crafting exceptional Pinot Noir, Nuccio has created a label that captures the essence of Oregon's Willamette Valley and invites wine enthusiasts to experience the passion and expertise that goes into every bottle.
