Pommard 1er Cru "Pezerolles" - 2020

The personality of the 1er cru Pézerolles is a consensual wine that will please many people. It has an excellent length, a lovely color, and a complex scent palette - all qualities of a wonderful wine. Flavors and fragrances of ripe fruit complement the deep, vibrant red hue, creating wonderful harmony. The aroma is elegant, centered around red fruit but also featuring some lovely floral nuances. It finishes slightly tart and with some tannins, but is overall super classy. The wine has the potential to age well for 10-15 years. It is recommended to serve it around 16-18 degrees Celsius for optimal flavor, and it pairs well with red meat (grilled or confit), aged cheeses, and other savory dishes.
