The Coteaux Bourguignons cuvée is called Folie sauvage. The guiding principle has been woven into a tapestry of stories that, taken together, capture the essence of Burgundy. This wine represents the best of human nature: camaraderie, gluttony, generosity, and socializing over a common appreciation of flavor and place. Throughout Burgundy's vinous history, Pinot Noir and Gamay have made excellent blend partners. The kind of wine you can easily have a conversation with. Useful for greeting unexpected visitors. Coteaux Bourguignons are produced from grapes grown in the communes of Meursault and Volnay. The Beaujolais Villages grapes are grown on extremely well-exposed hillside parcels in Pruzilly. A rich scent, dark fruits, and an urge to taste. On the palate, as well as the nose, this is a very rich wine, full of energy and with a fine acidity. A wine with depth on the finish, that is also lengthy and minerally.
Temperature for tasting: 16-18°C. Food and wine pairings include exquisite charcuterie, aged cheese, and grilled meat.
