About Distillerie Francoli
Since 1875, when Louis William Francoli lit his makeshift still in his Valtellina home, the Francoli family has been producing alcohol. In 1951, his offspring opened a distillery in the town of Ghemme. There has never been any change in the fact that Fratelli Francoli is still run by the original founder's descendants. Since the '50s, the Francoli family has been producing authentic Italian liqueurs. The family uses a wide range of infusion equipment to ensure the greatest possible means of extracting natural flavors, controlling and blending by hand throughout. The Francoli family has been well-known through the years for its exceptional grappa and liqueurs, but their environmentally responsible practices have received less attention. Francoli was accredited as an environmentally friendly company in 2006 after more than 30 years of hard work in collaboration with other local businesses and internal systems.
