About Château Jourdan

Château Jourdan is a family estate with a rich history, established in 1980 by Jean-François Landi. Located in L'Entre-deux-mers, the vineyards are primarily situated in the villages of Rions and Blasimon, with additional parcels in between. The estate spans 200 hectares and is committed to sustainable farming, holding the "Haute Valeur Environnementale" (High Environmental Value) certification, which attests to its dedication to preserving the natural ecosystem and minimizing its environmental impact, including on soil, water, and biodiversity. The vineyards predominantly feature clay and limestone soil, with some areas of gravels and siliceous clay.

The average age of the vines is 30 years. The vinification process emphasizes gentle extraction and is followed by aging in steel tanks. Château Jourdan's Bordeaux Blanc 2022 is a distinctive blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Sèmillon, and 10% Muscadelle, showcasing aromatic notes of white citrus, passion fruit, acacia, and dried fruits. This white still wine reflects the estate's commitment to sustainability, with an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 12.00%
