About Champagne Solemme

Champagne Solemme is a family-owned winery situated in the heart of Champagne, France. Founded in the early 1900s, the winery has been passed down through several generations of the family, with each generation building upon the legacy of the last. Champagne Solemme is committed to traditional winemaking methods and uses high-quality, estate-grown grapes in the Montagne de Reims.

The family's commitment to quality begins in the vineyards, which have been farmed organically since 2009 and certified organic since 2018. Additionally, Olivier Langlais, the current owner, has implemented biodynamic practices since taking over the six-hectare estate. Each step of the winemaking process is timed to the lunar calendar, and there is no new oak or malolactic fermentations, in order to allow the greatest transparency of terroir. As a grower, Olivier is committed to Pinot Meunier as the primary variety and the wines all display the grape's unique blend of supple red fruit and spice.
