Organic Orange Riesling Trocken - 2020

An intensely aromatic skin-contact Riesling, springing forth with notes of apricot and orange. The palate is equally compelling, showing tangy citrus flavors that meld seamlessly together with the wine’s subtle tannins. Pale orangey gold. Intensely aromatic with apricot, orange and barley sugar. Tangy, sour-citrus flavors, lots of freshness and the tannins are just right for harmony. I think this would be a very versatile food wine. Long, chewy finish.

  • Climate:The Mosel’s climate is pretty cool, especially as wine-growing regions go. The growing season is short, both because of temperature and the shortage of sun as days grow shorter in the autumn. The Mosel River itself helps mitigate some of what would be otherwise harsh conditions, as the river fog helps prevent frost from occurring too early.
