"We source grapes from 4 vineyards of various aspects, soils, and elevations ranging from 1300’ to 2800’ to make a wine representative of El Dorado. About half of the fruit is Estate grown at our two unique sites at 1300’ and 2700’ in elevation. The balance comes from Sumu Kaw in Pleasant Valley and Fenaughty in the northern part of El Dorado. We bottled the wine unfined and unfiltered after 11 months in barrel, 40% of which were Hogs Head sized (300L) for less oak influence."
"This 100% Grenache is lighter on its feet than previous versions with bright acidity and chewy minerality on its mouth-coating finish. It offers aromas of cherry, dried cranberry, plum, and strawberry coupled with hints of sage, fennel seed, and dried rose petals."
Estate – 41% Stoney Creek, 5% White Oak Flats
Local – 24% Sumu Kaw, 30% Fenaughty.
