Story

“From the Scribe Estate on the southwest-facing slope of Arrowhead Mountain. Clones Mount Eden, Martini, Pommard, 667, 115 and 777 are planted on 1616C, 3309C, 1103P and 5C rootstock in a combination of volcanic tuff and Huichica loam soils.

Northern California experienced another cool and wet winter which kept the vines dormant through late March/Early April. The springtime brought a mix of heat spells followed by cool and wet weather. Our initial predictions were for a later harvest, but the warm summer months hastened the growing cycle of the vines. Harvest started for us August 14th with the Rosé of Pinot Noir and ended with out Atlas West Cabernet Sauvignon in mid-October.”
