About Gianetto

Guido Porro’s first release from the Gianetto vineyard was 2011. The south-facing vineyard is still young compared to Porro’s other holdings, but the wines are expressive and perfumed after 3 years in Slavonian oak casks. For now the Gianetto is a perfect Barolo for drinking now as the wines is an approachable Nebbiolo with notes of rose petals, fresh raspberries, and a youthful structure that complements the generous fruit on the palate.
