About Prunus Branco

“In the valley of Dão river lays Silgueiros region which dates back to 4000 years. Traces left by the Romans and Moors show that the wine was produced here long before the Christ. The Latin word “Silicarios” means a rocky region and indeed soils here are poor. This is the place where on small plots of land on 400m of altitude the growers take care of vines. Prunus is an expression of that work. Hand-picked grapes by families and neighbors, blended by us, give enchanting wine.”

“Well-rounded and harmonious with concentrated fruit flavors of peaches yellow plums, apricots and floral notes while mineral on the palate with long mouth-watering finish. Serve chilled with seafood, fresh fish and creamy pasta.”
