Story

THE VINEYARD: Downslope from his father's Freestone Hill Vineyard, John Cleary and his family have their own parcel of West Sonoma Coast vineyard land: this 6-acre plot. Ernest has leased and farmed this site since 2015 which, as our coldest vineyard, is a challenging task in even the best years.

LABEL STORY: When Erin’s family settled in Motley County, Texas, they brought with them ideas, talents, and dreams. Any one of them could have been considered The Settler. The landscape provided hard challenges and discoveries, but they persevered and created a new sense of heritage along the way.

TASTING NOTES: Hues of crimson and garnet with roses, raspberries, summer cherries and crushed stones on the nose. Subtle and assertive on the palate with a persistent rhubarb and pomegranate juices married with soft tannins and balanced acidity.
