Trepat traditionally has been made into Rose only b/c of it’s delicate notes. It is also only found in this part of the world (Conca de Barbera and Costers del Segre in Taragona) Very few producers work with the Trepat varietal. This rose is savory and the fruit is pretty …strawberries and raspberries…meanwhile there is a pepper and cinnamon note and a slightly tannic finish that make it interesting with food.
