Bench Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast
Vineyards-Sourced primarily from the cool, Russian River Valley, Vines and Roses Estate Vineyard on the famed Olivet Road. Small Pinot lots from Sonoma Carneros and the Petaluma Gap complement the blends more “Coastal” characters.
Vintage-The 2018 vintage offered excellent growing conditions. A mild winter followed by an early spring started the year off early. Sonoma County did not suffer any heat waves (or fires) this summer so the ripening was slow and steady. We picked much later this year as mild days continued into September. This vintage will be characterized by good acidities and lower alcohols.
