Story

Vineyard-The 2018 Barrique Chardonnay is sourced from three of Sonoma Count's most prestigious growing regions: Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley, and Sonoma Coast. These AVA's reflect a variety of mirco-climates and soil composition, providing a diverse selections of blending components for the winemaker.

Vintage-The 2018 vintage offered excellent growing conditions. A mild winter followed by an early spring started the year off early. Sonoma County did not suffer any heat waves (or fires) this summer so the ripening was slow and steady. We picked much later this year as mild days continued into September. This vintage will be characterized by good acidities and lower alcohols.
