A true seed-to-glass distillery, Far North Spirits is one of only 42 distilleries nation-wide to grow its own grains. Every step of production—milling, mashing, fermenting, distilling and bottling—is carried through on-site by hand.

Mezcalero is a collaboration between Ansley Coale of Craft Distillers, Destilería Los Danzantes and a handful of individual artisan distillers, often from remote villages in Oaxaca. First released in 2011, Mezcalero seeks to preserve the craft of small-batch Mezcal production by making the fruits of this labor-intensive spirit more widely available.

A harbinger of the mezcal renaissance, Los Danzantes began distilling fine mezcal for top restaurants throughout Mexico.  Now, they continue to push the limits of how mezcal is perceived and drank with their elegant aged expressions.
