From 7-8PM, tune into NBC New York and watch John, whose palate has been shaped by his travels around the world with T. Edward Wines. For two decades, he has mastered the market in the city, bringing to you the most unique wines that our world has to offer. Tonight he'll taste Chuck through five wines, all of which follow below.
Jelu Torrontes San Juan "Zonda Valley" 2011
Beautifully aromatic and floral from a vineyard planeted on old riverbed stones at very high altitudes in the Andes!
You can purchase this wine at:
Gothic Rose of Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2011
From one of the oldest vineyards planted in the Willamette, this wine is the brainchild of a top NY Somm and Restauranter. Gothic is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with searing acidity and soft red, sexy fruit.

Ermita San Felices Rioja Rosado 2011
With ample experience in making and ageing great wines dating back to 1964, Roberto Perez left his position as winemaker in a historic Haro bodega in 1998, to launch his own personal project of signature wines. This Rose is made from 100% tempranillo and it tastes and smells like a strawberry just pulled from the dirt.
Find the Rosado at:
Christian Bernard "Select Block Gamay" 2009
Situated in the heart of Fleurie, the Domaine des Grands Fers has been in Christian Bernard's family since the turn of the last century. This particular “Select Block Gamay” comes from a tiny vineyard plot that wowed us in this fantastic vintage. We were fortunate enough to be able secure the entire production to share with our friends back in NYC.
