This month, Billecart-Salmon joins (RED), to mark its 10-year anniversary in the fight against AIDS. With $350 million already raised for The Global Fund to fight AIDS, (RED) was founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver. With these funds, Global Fund estimates that over 70 million people have been affected by their efforts in prevention, treatment, counseling, HIV testing and care. In joining the crusade to end AIDS, the Billecart family is donating 10% of the retail price of each bottle of Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve NV, which will provide 16 days of lifesaving medication to help prevent HIV+ pregnant women from passing the virus to their babies.

“As one of the most recognized and appreciated Champagne brands in North America, Billecart-Salmon is proud to collaborate with (RED) to raise consumer awareness and incite our industry and customers to help save lives. For almost 200 years, the Billecart family has privileged quality and excellence. Our men and women share these exceptional values by crafting the best quality Champagne at every harvest. Billecart-Salmon (RED) unites excellence with a social purpose to give back in order to achieve an AIDS-free generation.” Geoffrey Loisel, Director Billecart-Salmon, North America

With a limited production of 20,000 bottles, Billecart-Salmon (RED) will be available at select retailers and restaurants. Please join us in the fight against AIDS.
